Employee Activism: Politics in the Workplace
Dates to be announced soon.
Did you know that according to a recent SHRM survey, 44% of HR Pros noted an increase in political volatility at work in 2020 compared to just 26% in 2016? Employees at organizations across all industries of various sizes have become energized by recent political activities. They are now bringing their views to the office and aren’t afraid to express their opinions.
The survey also noted “80% of HR Pros said their organizations have not set guidelines on communicating about politics at work”. With the rise in political activism, this is a significant opportunity for HR to take the lead in developing clear guidelines and setting expectations for appropriate workplace behavior.
Addressing politics in the workplace has become more important than ever! Join us for this one-hour, live interactive HR Community event approved for 1 SHRM professional development credit (PDC) and 1 HRCI recertification credit.
