“I first heard about HR Jetpack in 2018 from a co-worker. We both decided to study for the SHRM-CP. He opted for the HR Jetpack course, while I opted for self-study using the SHRM Learning System. I managed to pass that exam in December 2018, but found myself rushing through material at the last-minute and wished I’d used a more structured approach to prepare.
Fast forward to early 2025, when I made the decision to go for the SHRM-SCP. This time, I decided to purchase the HR Jetpack course. “When I initially made the decision to pursue the SHRM-CP certification, I did a lot of research on many exam prep programs and resources. When I eventually came across the HR Jetpack Program, I knew that this program had everything that I felt I needed and many resources that I didn’t know I needed until they were available to me.
I truly feel like the HR Jetpack program is like an all inclusive vacation package. You invest one price and then you’re able to utilize everything included in that package as much as you want and you get “more bang for your buck”. The package that I decided to go with came with 4 physical books covering the learning modules and I was also given access to download electronic versions of these books. You have access to the SHRM Learning System that you can take quizzes over the content that you read about and you can check your own understanding of the material. You’re also given access to flash cards, quick start videos and a personalized study plan that’s created from the initial online assessment that you complete that measures your knowledge level on the 4 main domains.
I think one of my favorite parts of the HR Jetpack program was the live sessions that I attended. It’s always helpful to have the opportunity to ask questions and bring up challenging concepts with other individuals who are pursuing the same thing that you’re pursuing. The instructors are very knowledgeable and experts in their fields and they provided great insight, tools and tips on ways to be successful on your exam. The information I received and learned was invaluable and I know that it helped me be successful on my exam. Without all of the resources, I don’t think I would have passed my exam.
