A course on Performance Management wouldn't be complete without a section dedicated to the "annual performance review" the sometimes terrifying words I mentioned in the introduction.

First, I'd like to address the difference between an annual performance review and performance management.

I also want to identify the issues with performance reviews which is important for you to be aware of as an HR professional.

Next we'll look at its connection to rewards or compensation.
