It's essential for human resources to integrate the right feedback guidelines and principles into their organization's culture. This course is designed for HR professionals by an HR professional. It includes a complete overview of the Performance Management process and its overlap with the employment cycle. It also provides a review on setting performance criteria, developing goals and giving effective feedback. Finally, there's a lesson on annual performance reviews and trends. 1. think of negative feedback as an opportunity. It may be very important to their development.
2. listen actively and ask questions. Often we shut down and become defensive when faced with criticism. Instead the employee needs to take the time to understand the feedback.
3. employees can use the criticism as a means to strengthen the relationship with a manager. It may be a fresh start!
