Did you know research is finding a direct connection between your organization’s DEI initiatives and harassment? In fact, researchers continue to build the case for a close link specifically between inclusion and workplace harassment. As DEI is integrated with a company’s business strategy, harassment prevention efforts should become a prominent aspect of such initiatives.

As HR Pros, we are aware of how important it is to build an inclusive work environment. However, harassment persists despite the implementation of DEI programs. Studies have shown that workplace harassment has increased over the last two years.

First, we’ll review and discuss what accounts for the disconnect between DEI and harassment. In addition, we’ll focus on the importance of aligning initiatives to help increase inclusion.
