Course:
The way we work — in the broadest sense of the word — is changing rapidly: from the type of jobs we have to the places we work from, and even the way we get paid (think cryptocurrencies). So, while the adoption of HR technology by organizations may be lagging, the need for HR innovation is clearly there.
HR Trends for this decade and beyond are driving the current need for innovation in the Human Resources landscape. While there are times when unique approaches are needed, we often find ourselves in need of a framework that will delve deeply into a process or product over time. The “Plan-Do-Check-Act” framework works well in all types of organizations, and it can be used to improve any process or product, by breaking them down into smaller steps or development stages and exploring ways to improve each one.
In this course we will learn about the PDCA process, developed by management consultant Dr. William Edwards Deming, and how and why it has worked so well for over 50 years. We will then apply this proven approach to a few timely HR-related workplace scenarios.
