DEI Challenges for Virtual/Remote and Hybrid Workplaces

The pandemic and the great resignation have provided some unique challenges for organizations, particularly in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion. While productivity has improved through remote work, so have feelings of isolation and disconnectedness.

In this previously-recorded event, we reviewed and discussed how remote work affects organization cohesion and harmony. Understanding the issues brought forth due to working remotely is the first step in addressing the problem. In addition, we went over what steps organizations can take to overcome these challenges and boost engagement. We also reviewed methods to improve motivation and the customer experience by creating a more inclusive virtual and hybrid work environment.
