This self-paced course introduces HR professionals to ADHD and how related traits may appear in the workplace. It reviews common characteristics such as difficulty with focus, time management, follow-through, and impulse control, along with strengths that may include creativity, empathy, problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity.
The course also presents several ways managers and HR professionals can support different work styles. Topics include setting clear priorities, providing structure, creating focus time, using regular check-ins, and having open conversations about what helps employees work more effectively. Participants will also be introduced to the CARE model for approaching these conversations.
