Course:

Effective workplace investigations depend on more than asking the right questions. Learn how the PEACE Method provides a structured approach to investigation interviews that focuses on gathering accurate, reliable information through preparation, rapport, open-ended questioning, clarification, closure, and evaluation. The course explores each stage of the PEACE framework and shows how the method can support cooperative, non-accusatory conversations during workplace investigations.
Led by experienced workplace investigator Meric Bloch, the course covers practical techniques for preparing for interviews, establishing rapport, encouraging employees to provide a full narrative, identifying gaps or inconsistencies, and asking effective follow-up questions. Participants will also examine approaches for closing interviews, evaluating the information gathered, interviewing investigation subjects, and recognizing common interviewing mistakes that can affect the quality of an investigation.
