Motivation in the workplace is key to engaging employees for maximizing their potential and driving business results. As HR Leaders, you know the importance, impact and influence leadership has on employee morale and performance. Unfortunately, studies show only 15% of our workforce feels engaged which can translate into high attrition rates. This means there’s a significant opportunity for HR to help understand and facilitate what truly energizes your workforce.
In this previously recorded community event we first provide an overview of motivation and discuss a few prominent motivational theories. We also focus on what motivates you as an HR Leader to better understand what may be driving your team members. Finally, we consider methods of application especially by being an inclusive leader. Take the time to understand why your workforce may or may not be fully motivated to succeed and support your management team in its goal to develop a high performing workplace.
