Employee health and wellness is now at the forefront of many organizational mission and vision statements. The opportunity to address and help prevent addiction has become especially important. Building a work environment in which your employees can feel psychologically safe is essential when supporting the wellbeing of your team members. How do you, as an HR Leader, help develop this sense of safety for employees? How can you impact the organizational culture so your workforce knows they can trust their team members and management while working through difficult times?
In this previously recorded HR Community event we discuss what is meant by “trust” in the workplace along with psychological safety. We also focus on what steps you can take to develop a more open workplace culture including how to start the conversation with your teammates about addiction. Finally, we go over resources you can use to take preventive measures for fighting addiction.
